Bible Study is a Catholic pocket companion designed to support your faith journey. We are committed to being transparent about what data we collect and why.
What we collect
Bible Study collects no personal information. The app runs in your browser, and any progress you save (such as completed lessons) is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_DD8L2T25FQ) in your browser to distinguish unique visitors and sessions for aggregate usage analytics. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, which sections are visited most. This data is anonymized and does not identify individual users. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
Third-party services
Bible Study uses the following third-party services:
Google Fonts — used to serve typefaces. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics — used for anonymous usage analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Readings data
Daily Mass readings are fetched from a free, open-source API. No personal data is sent as part of these requests.
Children's privacy
Bible Study is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
